FISHING VESSELS of our Company

Murman SeaFood Company operates its own well equipped and productive fishing vessels: freezing factory-trawlers and seiner-trawler. The factory-trawlers are fishing bottom and pelagic species and are manufacturing onboard high-quality frozen fish products (fillets skin on and skin off, headed and gutted fish, non-cut fish, technical and fodder by-products and canned cod liver) based on most strong European standards. The seiner-trawler is fishing various pelagic species (mackerel, herring, capelin, blue whiting…) by trawl (or can use purse net) and is manufacturing frozen fish products (including fillets) and may store fresh fish in RSW-tanks onboard.
All fish products are delivered to world markets and to Russia as well.
 

 

Freezing factory-trawler M-0239 "MELKART" (since 2004)

Built in 1974 at the yard Molde Verft A/S Maloy Verft, Maloy, Norway. Last overhaul and modernization at the yard Kaarboe Verksted AS, Harstad, Norway, in 2004.
L x B x H = 56,0 x 10,6 x 7,0 m. 
Displacement max – 1626 t. 
Tonnage (frozen production) - 350 t. 
Main engine 1999 bhp ÌÀÊ 8Ì 452 ÀÊ. 
Speed - 12 kn.  Crew - 34 persons.

Factory seiner-trawler M-0267 "NORTH OCEAN" (since 2006)

Built in 1978 at the yard Smedvik Mek Verksted, Norway. Last modernization in 2011 at the yard Stocznia Remontowa, Gdansk, Poland.
L x B x H = 69,27 x 12,00 x 7,96 m. 
Displacement max - 3450 t. 
Tonnage (frozen production) - 550 t 
Capacity of 3 RSW-tanks – 700 cubic m.
Main engine 3000 bhp. WICHMAN 9 AXG. 
Speed  - 13,0 kn.  Crew - 32 persons. 
Fishing gear – pelagic trawls, purse seines.
Freezing capacity - 90 t per day. 

 

Freezing factory-trawler Ì-0418 " MELKART -2" (since 2008)
Type of vessel - Middle Stern Trawler Freezer.
Built in 1987 at the yard Soviknes, Norway.  Last modernization in 2012 at the yard Stocznia Remontowa, Gdansk, Poland.

Tonnage (frozen production) - 517 ò. 
Main engine 3994 bhp Bergen Diesel BRM-8. 
Speed  13 kn.  Crew - 32 persons.

Built in 1988 at the yard Kleven Mek Verksted, Norway.  Last modernization in 2012 at the yard Slippurinn Akureyri, Iceland.

Tonnage (frozen production) - 551 ò. 
Main engine 3900 bhp Wichmann 10v28B. 
Speed  13 kn.  Crew - 32 persons.

Built in 1983 at the yard ASTILLEROS GONDAN, Puerto de Figueras, Spain. 
Class Bureau Veritas. 
L x B x H = 63,9 x 10,5 x 6,97 m 
Displacement max - 2145 t. 
Tonnage (frozen production) - 720 t. 
 Main engine  1850 bhp RBV6m358 DEUTS. 
In December of 2009 the bareboat-charter party has been terminated and the vessel returned to owner.



Factory trawler M-1008 "MAROANJOCA" (1998 - 2009)

Built in 1988 at the yard CN PEREIRA SA, Vigo, Spain. 
Class 13 3e Fishing Vessel Deep Sea.

Tonnage (frozen production) - 620 t. 
 Main engine 1725 bhp MDZC-750|153a. 
In December of 2009 the bareboat-charter party has been terminated and the vessel returned to owner.

 



Seiner-trawler "MURMAN-2" (1998 - 2005)

Type of vessel - Middle Seiner Trawler. 
Built in 1998 at the yard Valdivia, Chile. 
Class DNV +1A1 Fishing vessel E0 Ice C. 
L x B x H = 74,50 x 12,6 x 8,2 m 
Displacement max - 4122 t. Gross tonnage – 2008 t. 
Tonnage (refrigerated fish) - 1900 t.
Main engine 7200 bhp diesel CATERPILLAR 3616. 
In December of 2005 the bareboat-charter party has been terminated and the vessel returned to owner.

 



Factory trawler "MURMAN" (1997 - 2002)

Built in 1987 at the yard KLEVEN MEK VERKSTED A/S, Norway. 
Class DNV +1A1 Stern Trawler Ice C E0. 
L x B x H = 57,0 x 13,0 x 8,7 m 
Displacement max - 2125 t. 
Tonnage (frozen products) - 600 t. 
On November 21, 2002, the vessel has sank due to the wreck near port Andenes (Norway).

 



Factory long-liner "IVAN KLYUSHIN" (1999 - 2005)

The vessel is owned by daughter enterprise – "Arctic Fish Products Limited".
Type of vessel – long-liner, freezer. 
Built in 1998 on the yard Raudeberg, Norway.

Displacement max - 1175 t. 
Tonnage (frozen products) - 250 t.
Main engine 1118 KWt. CATERPILLAR  3512 B. 
Since January of 2006 vessel is in bareboat-charter of foreign company.

 



Seiner-trawler "YUPITER II" (2005 - 2007)

Built in 1972 on the yard P\F Skala  Skipasmidja, Skale, Faroe Islands.

Displacement max - 1741 t. 
Tonnage (cooled fish) - 340 ò.
Main engine 1400 bhp. diesel SF 18 VS - F. 
Capacity of 3 RSW-tanks – 1460 cubic m.
Out of operation since January 2006, in December 2007 has been written off.
